Exeter, East and Mid Devon Substance Misuse Team (ENDAS)
The ENDAS drug and alcohol services aim to help change, prevent drug and
alcohol misuse and criminal activity.
Services include arrest referral schemes, drug treatment
testing order (DTTO) , community drug and alcohol team (DAAT), specialist,
generalist and GP shared care workers , a substitute prescribing service
and a Prolific Offender Unit.
Their objectives are to manage increased demands upon service, to focus
resources on those individuals with complex needs, to free up resources
of community team to enable throughput through service, to enable quicker
response to service users presenting to service, to meet service level
agreements and national targets.
